About the role *WeWork is looking for an Expansion Associate based in an existing or new market and rotating through projects every 2-3 months to effectively and efficiently support the city and the Expansion Lead through United States and international markets with a focus on lead generation and sales. *This person will report into the market’s Expansion Lead. *As a successful Expansion Associate, you will be support the growth for the company and Community team. Your primary responsibilities will include (though will not be limited to): *Facilitate relationships with local influencers, entrepreneurs and businesses. Your objective is to gather and maximize as many as possible of these relationships. *Fast pace in both lead generation and lead conversion. *Provide innovative, scalable solutions for lead generation (including implementing in each Expansion project), for example cold emailing, networking, events, social media, etc. *Leverage the existing community to help growth. *Connect with influencers in your region to build partnerships and clients. Source a network of influencers and leverage relationships to reach sales goals. *Attend events to achieve above along with concepting new ways to outreach in a market. *Tap into the local network by reaching out to event organizers and attending relevant events within the city. *How fast the community grows as a result of these organic marketing efforts is one of the performance indicators you’ll be assessed on.

Minimum Qualifications *Bachelor Degree *At least 2 years of experience in startups and/or entrepreneurial environments *Grasp of sales funnels and ability to work towards rigid goals *Versatile, flexible, adapt quickly to change: you are excited by fast-paced, fast-changing environments and embrace them effortlessly. *Strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit — WeWork is growing incredibly quickly, meaning each employee will be given significant responsibility and autonomy. This will mean hard work, but will also mean much room for innovation in developing processes and/or programs that could benefit the company and create room for significant personal and career growth *Exceptional organizational, follow up and multi-tasking skills *Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy *Excellent communication skills: concise, effective emails, tact communicating across cultures, and a love for interacting with people *Results driven with an ability to execute on tight project deadline
